Falkens Indiana Jones and the Red Ball of Doom

here a quick story I tossed up, sorry for the grammer and spelling errors along with punctuation... writing late at night isn't a good idea for me. lol

There it was. No one could miss. It stood out like a sore thumb and most of the horses snorted as they pasted by the pasture on their way to turn out; unsure of that strange thing just sitting there. Some would go up to the fence and stare at it and when it was too much or they thought they saw it move just a bit in the morning breeze they tore off to the other side of their pasture. Only one thing would be unafraid of this foe.
As he struted out of the barn at the end of his lead; tossing his head in eagerness to meet the spring. He caught sight of this thing. His eyes narrowed at the audacity it had to choose his pasture and it dared to be taller than he! eager to set this stranger straight on a couple of things he tugged at his lead and started making a big scene 'let me at him' he seemed to say as his two-legged set him free. At a full gallop he rammed straight into it with out missing a beat. To his amazement he found that it bounced! Pinning his ears he ran after it nipping it and striking it when ever he could he would rear and buck and kick and twist. Until finally quiet out of breath he looked at it and lowered his head 'now stay here you; while I go rest. We've got some unfinished business and I haven't shown you my best'.
